I can still remember the very first time I meant Allison. It was one year ago when she came to my home. She was sent by Legacy to help me find a home for my husband Patrick. I immediately felt her compassion and concern for both my husband and myself. At the time I was in terrible shape knowing Pat would have to be placed in a home due to his violent acts caused by Alzheimer disease. Her calm and loving demeanor helped me put my horrible and anxious thoughts into proper focus. I was able to understand what I had to do in order to get my husband the right place to live where he would get the help and care he would need for the rest of his life. I know it wasn’t an easy task for Allison to help me find this “perfect” place. She worked hard and diligently with me to help find this place keeping me constantly in the loop to places she thought would be appropriate for Pat. She finally did find a good home for Patrick. I have learned a lot from this loving and caring woman who has now become a good friend to me. She put up with a woman who was almost on the verge of a break-down. She helped me get through a very rough time and for that I will always be grateful.
